Donald Young - Wimbledon Junior Champion Gets US Open Wild Card
Donald Young has been heralded as one of the next big time Tennis superstars of America after successful Junior results - and now he gets a wild card entry to the US Open.
Donald Young so far has shown a lot of potential and was ranked no. 1 on the Junior Circuit in 2005. Since he’s turned pro he has struggled to transform his early success into real results on the pro ranks having so far won none of this matchs.
No doubt Young has a lot of potential but now days the smaller guys like Lleyton Hewitt struggle against the power games of stronger players such as Roger Federer.
In saying that Donald Young still managed to pull off a win against No. 1 seed Vladamir Ignatic at the Junior Tournament Wimbledon 2007.
Maybe in this years US Open Donald Young will change up some of that talent and show it off in the big time.
