Maria Sharapova wins against Michaella Krajicek and heads to the Los Angeles Classic Quarters
Michaella Krajicek was a feisty challenge for Maria Sharapova at the West Bank Tennis Classic in Los Angeles but Sharapova battled through for the win and will now face Nadia Petrova in the semi’s.

“It felt like a break-fest,” Sharapova told reporters. “Back and forth. I felt like I was going to the Death Eaters and they were going to eat me up.” said the Harry Potter fan.
Sharapova won the game with a crosscourt backhand service return winner.
