Michaëlla Krajicek - Dutch Player Half Sister of Richard Krajicek
Dutch player Michella Krajicek has a career high singles ranking of 32 and doubles ranking of 34.
Nicknamed “kleine kraii” for little Kraii as she is a half-sister of 1996 Wimbledon singles champion and now retired Richard Krajicek.
A top Junior player Michaella was:
- No. 1 European Junior player in 2002.
- In 2003 Michaella was the No. 2 Junior in the World.
- In 2004 she was ranked No. 1 Junior in the World.
In 2005 at 16 years of age Michaella qualified for the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon. She won an ITF tournament and her first WTA tournament in winning the Tashkent Open. Michaella finished the year ranked No. 58 in the world.
In 2006 she finished No. 35 in the world.
