Novak Djokovic beaten by Carlos Moya at Cincinnati Masters
Second seed Rafael Nadal and third seed Novak Djokovic were forced into early exits from the Cincinnati Masters.
Second seed Nadal was dizzy and not feeling well when he went on to the court for his match with Juan Monaco, and once the match started felt no power in his legs plus had no feel for his racket because of cramping in his left forearm.
Rafael Nadal decided to retire when the scores were 7-6(7-5) 4-1 against Juan Monaco while Novak Djokovic was quickly beaten by Carlos Moya in a 6.4, 6-1 match.
Djokovic ceded that the effort of playing for ten days plus beating the three top players in the world at Canada last week had caught up with him.
Factor in a flight to Cincinnati, no day off to rest, doubles the previous day and having no time to properly prepare for his singles match and he was left feeling tired but undeterred given his recent punishing schedule.
