Novak Djokovic has won the Montreal Masters beating Super-Player Roger Federer
Novak Djokovic has the ability to beat anyone and is one of the few players (the only player?) capable of beating world number one Roger Federer 7-6 (7-2), 2-6, 7-6 (7-2), world number two Rafael Nadal 7-5, 6-3 and world number three Andy Roddick in succession.
20-year-old Serb Novak Djokovic beat all three at the same tournament in his march from the QF to SF to Final at the ATP Masters Series Event at Uniprix Stadium in Montreal, Canada.
The last person to have achieved a similar feat was Boris Becker in Stockholm 1994.
A further highlight that Djokovic’s star is rising is that he is the only player since 2004 to have beaten Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal at all.
Novak Djokovic’s big serve and wide array of shots is sure to move him up the seedings in the US Open where he will enter at world number three.
