Serena Williams Whips Opponent At Wimbledon
Muttering and mumbling throughout, Serena Williams looked a tortured soul at Wimbledon 2007 before finally reaching the third round.
After rating her first-round performance “two out of 10″, Serena Williams was unlikely to be satisfied with her continuing ragged form when she came back from a break down in each set before beating Australian Alicia Molik 7-6 6-3.
The American star captured this year’s Australian Open by pasting Maria Sharapova so she (Serena Williams) will have welcomed a return to Wimbledon form in whipping her third round opponent Venezuelan Milagros Sequera 6-1 6-0 in just 43 minutes.
